SERVING OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES

At InterLinc, we believe in strengthening and helping to improve the quality of life in the communities where we live and work. It is this passion that led to the creation of the InterLinc Family Foundation, which is dedicated to making a positive difference in underprivileged and challenged youth by investing our collaborative time, talent and treasure.

Founded in January 2012 by Jim and Elizabeth VanSteenhouse, together with enthusiastic support of the employees here at InterLinc, the Foundation's support is geared toward organizations that effectively utilize volunteer resources; those that can incorporate the direct involvement and volunteer participation of InterLinc employees, their friends and family both in Texas and other states across the country where we conduct business.

The InterLinc Family Foundation is focused on supporting programs that provide our youth with a sense of hope and belonging, while helping them realize their sense of self-worth. Our initiative is to align our youth with people that encourage a life of great hope, direction and opportunity. Its vision focuses on teaching our youth to "fish for life" versus "feeding them for a day." Having said that, supporters of the InterLinc Family Foundation firmly believe that it is possible to move mountains, and that we can accomplish what we hold ourselves accountable for. Each and every one of us has the power to create the future every day, and the Foundation favors endeavors that work to instill these values in the youth of our local communities.

MEET OUR ROCKSTAR R & S TEAM

LANCE HILCHER

Lance Hilcher joined the mortgage industry in 2003, and has enjoyed the amazing ride for the last 16 years! From Originator to Account Executive, and now to Executive Recruiter, he has sat in many seats and seen many changes in the mortgage industry. Throughout his journey, Lance has received numerous awards, and accomplished many goals and objectives!
When asked what he looks forward to in his future here at InterLinc, Lance said, "I am honored to bring these talents to InterLinc Mortgage, where our people, our platform, our products, and our culture are going to propel us to even greater things in the coming months and years!"

TED BRYANT

Since graduating from Auburn University, Ted Bryant has spent time in both the insurance and the mortgage industry. Shortly after college Ted opened and presided over his own insurance agency. The experience of opening his agency from 'scratch' provided valuable knowledge and lessons which continue to help him with his duties to this day.

In his tenure in the mortgage industry Ted has worn a lot of hats including working with Loan Originators to develop and solidify relationships with referral partners, managing business operations on a regional and corporate level, managing production and profitability for the Southeast Region of InterLinc, on-boarding new employees and branches, creating efficient processes in key areas of the company, and simply being someone people could come to when problems needed to be solved.

In his spare time, Ted enjoys hunting and fishing, but above all, spending time with his wife and 2 daughters. Ted is a native of Montgomery, AL and now lives in Auburn, AL.

SIAN VRANA

Sian Vrana comes to InterLinc from a competitor and has an assorted background to include over 20 years in the financial industry including origination and over 12 years of recruiting. She has recruited nationwide for other large lenders and has been frequently recognized as a top producer in a variety of industries.

Sian lives in Fort Worth, TX and has been happily married to her husband Randy for many years. They have a daughter who recently graduated nursing school and is getting married this year. Sian is excited to join the InterLinc family and recruit great candidates into the company.

FIRAS MARENKOS

Firas (pronounced Ferris) Marenkos was born and raised on the Great Lakes in Michigan. Firas was formally trained as an Industrial and Organizational Psychologist. Using these skills, he entered the world of mortgage recruiting and has helped multiple mortgage companies grow to be some of the largest lenders in the country.

When asked about what he looks forward to in his future here at InterLinc, Firas replied, "When I talked to Lance and Jim, before joining the InterLinc team, I knew the company culture was for me. Now that I'm here, I look forward to helping the company grow. I'm excited because my success in my role directly correlates with the success and growth of the company. It's a beautiful mutually beneficial relationship."

TODD CARTER

Todd Carter has been in the mortgage business for over 20 years, with a decade of that as an actual producing Loan Originator or Lending Manager. He understands the success and the pain of the industry and what influences producers to consider a move.

Knowing that the average LO makes a move every 2-3 years for different reasons, Todd stated, "I love having the opportunity to speak with those who are looking for a better culture to be successful and share my personal experience and understanding with them. I get that CHANGE is constant and uncertainty can set in at times, whether it is from compensation restructuring, financial instability within the company, rates not being competitive, management turnover, etc. I am here to help these individuals make the best decision for their future of success."

MICHAEL PUYEAR

Michael Puyear has been recruiting for over twenty years; thirteen of those years have been laser-focused on mortgage sales. He has developed lasting ties and trusting relationships within the sales community of the mortgage industry and has worked hard to earn a name that can be trusted to always do the right thing.

When asked what brought him to InterLinc, Michael said, "It was my conversation with Jim V. that closed the deal for me. Jim's passion for the mortgage business in general and his passion for his company in particular is what sold me."

LANCE STIFFLEMIRE

Lance Stifflemire has been in the mortgage industry since 1998. He has spent the majority of his career as a Producing Branch Manager and National Sales Management. He has many long-term relationships throughout the industry and truly understands what it means to try and grow your business with all the challenges of management at the same time. "I came back to InterLinc to help Branch Managers and Loan Officers who are committed to becoming better every day and have the guts to challenge themselves." He has a history of being a top producer here at InterLinc and wants to show people there is a better way. "I learned to stop listening to the same old story and join an organization that really does stay involved and help you grow!"
