Employee of the Month – Michelle Jabbour

Appreciation is a wonderful thing, its makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well. Appreciation can make a day, even change a life. Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary.”

Michelle Jabbour, HR Employment Specialist out of Houston, TX, is a person others know they can count on. She works in a fast-paced environment where things are constantly changing. She takes the ball and runs with it, and she always crosses the goal line. At InterLinc we know that people like Michelle are what it takes for our organization to be successful and we’re appreciative of her and the countless others like her that we call family members. When asked who they appreciate, many of our team members jumped at the opportunity to say they appreciate Michelle Jabbour. For this reason, Michelle has been selected as InterLinc Employee of the Month – April 2018!

When asked about Michelle, VP of Human Resources, Susie Smith, said: “She is reliable, dependable, hardworking and trusting. You know you can count on Michelle to have the branch and its employees in mind before herself. No matter what task she is given, she gives it her all and won’t give up in order to keep things on track and pushed across the finish line. She takes initiative and will make sure to follow up like no other. She stays calm, cool and collective in all situations.”

Rachel Zakos, Executive Assistant, said: “I don’t think a lot of people know exactly what she does in HR but the simple answer is.….everything! Even if she doesn’t know the answer to a question you might have, she doesn’t tell you “I’m sorry, I don’t know”, she will find out the answer for you. In April, we had a HUGE onboarding of over 60 individuals and she did not skip a beat! It was a lot of work, from setting up links for applications, to background checks, to offer letters, to employment agreements, to entering all their information into Paycom and so much more in between. We all know things change at the drop of a dime with onboarding, and they did change. She didn’t let the workload or pressure of on-boarding 60+ individuals get to her, she pushed through it. She worked long hours during the week as well as the weekends to make sure what needed to be done was done, and that it was done correctly….just like a rockstar!”
